As a Senior Application Engineer at Melexis, you have a crucial role to build strong technical expertise on Melexis products, develop new solutions and enable Melexis customers to use them.

More specifically, you will:

• Be a key technical contact for customers and solve technical problems at the customer site.
• Technically coach fellow engineers.
• Develop production-level embedded SW for advanced motor control and embedded systems.
• Acquire system knowledge and join the System Architect in the architecture definition specification and validation of innovative hardware and software solutions. 
• Propose novel system solutions that solve customer needs.
• Follow market trends and customers' needs.
• Author application notes and system documentation.

Your profile

• An engineering master's degree in an electronic or microelectronic field.
• More than 7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and embedded SW development.
• Strong experience in supporting customers.
• Expert knowledge of low level or bare-metal embedded systems.
• Expert knowledge of programming languages like C, Python.
• Good understanding of control theory and the functions of the Integrated Circuit (IC) design at a block level.
• Good understanding of discrete electronics circuits.
• Advanced technical expertise at the application level.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel frequently (20%).
