Your future job

As a student of Electrical engineering, Nanoelectronics, Physics, or a comparable field of study you will gain exciting insights into IC design and the verification of position sensors developed at Melexis Dresden GmbH. You will actively work on current high-tech topics and international projects and can make initial career-relevant contacts and apply your theoretical knowledge practically.

 

Your tasks in detail

• Active participation in various development and project tasks as well as future-oriented innovation projects (pre-developments)
• Independent verification of novel circuits (position sensors) and electrical modules using modern measurement methods and instruments (e.g., spectrum analyzers, PXI systems)
• Conducting detailed competitor analyses
• Creation of precise measurement reports and presentation of results within the development team as well as successful integration into the Position Sensors Business Unit
• PCB development using Altium (no prior knowledge necessary)
• PCB assembly (soldering)
• Support with administrative and organizational tasks

Your profile

• Enrolled student of a technical field of study, for example, electrical engineering or a similar course of study
• Distinct motivation as well as great interest in practical laboratory activities and IC development
• Logical-analytical thinking skills and a creative way of problem-solving
• Willingness and competence for successful collaboration in an international team
• Sound knowledge in handling standard office software
• Very good language skills in German and English, both written and spoken
