Your future job
As a Trainee in PCB Layout Design at Melexis, you will gain practical experience in electronic design and PCB development while working closely with experienced Hardware and R&D engineers. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills and contribute to real engineering projects in an international high-tech environment.
More specifically, you will:
- Support the creation and modification of PCB layouts based on electronic schematics and engineering requirements.
- Assist with component placement, routing, and basic PCB design optimization.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of PCB design documentation and production files.
- Review existing PCB layouts and help identify opportunities for improvements.
- Work with Hardware engineers and other R&D team members on PCB-related activities.
- Gain hands-on experience with PCB design tools and learn about PCB design and manufacturing requirements.
- Contribute to engineering projects while following established design and quality guidelines.
Your profile
- Ongoing education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a relevant technical field.
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits and the ability to read electronic schematics.
- Interest in PCB design and electronic hardware development.
- Good attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Good computer literacy; familiarity with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer is considered an advantage.
- Team player with a self-driven and proactive attitude.
- Good communication skills in English.
