Student Procurement Operational Excellence Team - Sofia, Bulgaria

 

Your future job

As an Intern in the Procurement Operational Excellence Team, you will support the team with day-to-day procurement operations, supplier follow-up, data management and reporting activities.

More specifically, you will:

  • PO creation & supplier follow-up: create and send Purchase Orders (POs), track order confirmations, and coordinate with suppliers, Finance, and Shipping;
  • Resolve operational issues related to delivery delays, price changes, and currency discrepancies;
  • Support colleagues with requisition creation, provide day-to-day guidance where needed, and create requisitions for spare parts;
  • Handle invoice approval for Direct Procurement: review and approve invoices with mismatches or without a PO, investigate invoice discrepancies, and validate correctness;
  • Analyze supplier pricelists and pricing data in Oracle and Excel, update pricelists where required, and extract and analyze pricelist data for unit-price reporting;
  • Follow up with suppliers to obtain signed Supplier Code of Conduct (SCoC) and maintain and document SCoC compliance in relevant tracking files;
  • Calculate quarterly Procurement KPIs in Excel, and prepare and maintain Procurement KPI reports (depending on experience and availability);
  • Refresh and validate the monthly Procurement spend cube using Excel/Power Query, and refresh and validate the monthly spend dashboard in Looker Studio (depending on experience and availability).

Your profile

  • Positive and customer-oriented attitude;
  • Good MS Office skills, especially in Excel;
  • Good English language skills;
  • Strong willingness to learn;
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver the assigned tasks on time;
  • Team player with good communication skills.
