As an intern at Melexis, you will analyze, model, and optimize the surge current capability of integrated current sensors.

Test, model, and evaluate how much transient current can flow through sensors before structural failure.
Provide a systematic design method and predictive modeling tools to optimize surge performance in future sensor products.
Expected results
A validated thermal and electrical simulation model predicting sensor destruction limits under surge currents.
A detailed experimental database characterizing physical failure mechanisms and limits of prototypes.
A validated design methodology and guidelines for developing robust new current sensor
Your profile
- Master’s student in Electrical Engineering or Physics with electrical and thermal simulation experience.
Proactive and team-oriented with strong laboratory testing and hardware skills.
