Who is this program for?

This program is designed for students who hold a bachelor’s degree in any specialty, share a deep interest in electronics,
and plan to pursue a master’s degree in specialty G5: "Electronics, Electronic Communications, Instrumentation, and Radio Engineering".

What will you learn?

This isn't just standard coursework. Our curriculum focuses on the exact skills modern semiconductor companies need. You will dive into:

  • Fundamentals of CMOS process
  • Design principals of basic analog blocks
  • Specifics aspect of High Voltage analog design
  • Fundamentals of analog IC layout
  • Modern CAD end-to-end design tools like Cadence Virtuoso Suite

What skills will you gain?

By the time you complete this course, you will be able to confidently step into the microelectronics industry with the ability to:

  • Recognize and navigate the different stages of the IC design flow.
  • Select optimal topologies and independently develop low-to-middle complexity analog design blocks, including Operational Amplifiers, as well as voltage and current references.
  • Verify your own designs directly within the Cadence environment.
  • Create block layouts and run critical post-layout simulations.

Why join Malexis Academy?

We believe the best way to learn engineering is by doing it alongside people who live it every day. As a student in this program, you will:

  • - Study and practice in a global high-tech environment
  • - Study under a combined team of dedicated university professors and experienced semiconductor engineers from Melexis.
  • - Bring your professional passion to the table and directly contribute to technologies that shape the future.
  • - The top 4 students will be awarded professional gig-contracts with Melexis-Ukraine based on their interview performance.

What our students and now colleagues say about the program

Svitlana Muhanova
Layout Engineer

“The Melexis student internship, alongside Professor Stikanov, was a pivotal milestone in my development as a young engineer. The deep knowledge I gained during the program, combined with hands-on experience in Cadence, gave me the confidence and competitive edge I needed when applying for a position at Melexis-Ukraine. It was a powerful catalyst for my career ahead. ”

Andrii Buzuluk
Staff Analog Design Engineer

“I completed the Analog Lab at Melexis in 2015, which led to a job offer as an Associate Analog Design Engineer. Today, 10 years later, I am a Staff Analog Design Engineer and a lead project engineer. The Analog Lab at Melexis is a unique opportunity to gain deep, practical knowledge under the guidance of a professional and experienced instructor, covering everything from semiconductor physics to modern circuit design.“

Yurii Toporov
Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer & Team Lead

“The internship at the Melexis Lab opened up a completely different dimension of knowledge for me—a practical one. My theoretical knowledge finally turned into something tangible: a chip that I could see with my own eyes, test, and verify that it actually worked. It is an incredible feeling! This is where I learned to work with the exact same tools used by the top players in the microelectronics industry, to stay focused on solving non-trivial problems and to look for out-of-the-box solutions. And now, over nearly ten years, I grew from a junior specialist to a team lead."
