The EVB75030V2 is the evaluation platform for Melexis MLX75030 active light sensor interface.

The evaluation board demonstrates a complete active light sensing application with one MLX75030, four near-infrared LEDs and two photodiodes. In the default configuration, the sensor detects active light on two channels. This information can be used to detect proximity of an object, movements and even simple "air gestures".

The EVB75030V2 comes with a mbed microcontroller rapid prototyping board (mbed LPC1768) that can be easily re-programmed.

The board can be connected to a computer via USB 2.0. An easy to use GUI enables the user to read and control the sensor directly. The available source code(s) and API allows for easy integration into a customer specific applications.
