Melexis Compact Master for MLX80339 - MCM81339
Product description
The MCM81339 is a pcb enabling fast characterizing and tuning of low-power fan applications (<40 W) without writing a single line of code.
The pcb leverages the Melexis Start-to-Run cloud environment to automatically measure a motor's main electrical and mechanical parameters.
The MCM81339 is valid for the MLX80339 (code-free). Since the code-free MLX80339-210 chip implements motor control entirely in logic, the environment allows users to generate a complete set of configuration parameters (Hex format) required for reliable motor operation.
Key Use Cases:
- Characterization: Automatic measurement of phase resistance, inductance, and BEMF constants.
- Iterative Tuning: Verify and adjust performance parameters like speed curves, start currents, and acceleration & deceleration limits in real-time.
- Production Readiness: Export finalized configuration ready for production environment programming.
Inside the Box
- MCM81339 Board
What You’ll Need (Not Included)
- Motor: Your specific reference fan or motor to connect to the motor output of the MCM board
- Power: 12V to 24V DC power supply (round DC plug)
- Cables: USB-C (for communication) from the MCM board to your PC
