Business update
Sales of 217.1 million EUR in the second quarter of 2026 grew 7% sequentially and 3% versus the same period last year, resulting in first half year 2026 sales of 419.2 million EUR, above our guidance. The outperforming applications were steering & braking, and thermal management. Automotive applications represented 89% of total sales in the second quarter of 2026.
New product launches in the second quarter further strengthens our offering in growing automotive trends such as electrification, premiumization and ADAS.
Quote from CEO Marc Biron
"Second quarter 2026 sales came in ahead of expectations as customer demand continued to recover. In particular, position sensors, current sensors and motor drivers grew well. We capture growth in thermal management applications across all powertrains, both in-cabin and under the hood. Elsewhere sales for steering & braking applications, as well as for solar panels, are also higher. We see the improving demand environment in our order book for the rest of the year.
Turning to robotics, first half sales and second half orders are growing strongly, and opportunities nearly doubled in the second quarter with substantial growth in both China and the US. We also booked 4 solid design wins with our sense and drive products, enabling physical AI in robotics.
Overall, I am encouraged by the recovery set to drive sales growth in the second half of 2026, and more sales opportunities in the structural automotive growth trends of electrification, ADAS, and premiumization, as well as new markets like robotics."
