As a Demand Planner and Coordinator at Melexis, your role is instrumental in aligning and managing demand information. This multifaceted role involves not only demand planning but also coordinating demand related actions.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the supply chain demand team and the product line manager to establish agreed (un)constrained forecasts based on customer and statistical forecasts.
  • Publishing and consistently maintaining both constrained and unconstrained forecasts in operations, ensuring effective communication of pertinent information.
  • Conducting in-depth trend analyses on forecasts, metrics, and customer stock positions.
  • Preparing crucial data as a foundation for demand team discussions during customer meetings.
  • Managing and executing projects for the supply chain demand team with a focus on meeting deadlines, adhering to budgets, and staying within defined scopes.
  • Coordinate the customer demand in the demand team on product and resource level.
  • Agree with the business unit and sales on customer priorities.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain planning team to bring the operational output inline with the allocated demand.


Your profile

  • You have a bachelor or master degree in Supply Chain (or equivalent by experience) with preferably at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • You have a practical knowledge of and experience with data analyses and tools  
  • You are results, customer and quality oriented.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English.
  • You are a team player
